Underground Cafe

In the beginning … Long before the Underground Cafe, there was just Dallyn Guenther. More than anything else, Dallyn loved coffee, sandwiches, and Rock & Roll. Fueled by these passions and wanting adventure, he took off for Australia.

While in the land down unda’, Dallyn found work at a café. There, he honed his superb skills in making coffee and gourmet sandwiches. It wasn’t long before word spread about Dallyn’s fantastic lattes and lunches. Hungry bellies from all over Perth lined up to try his delicious concoctions.

When Dallyn returned to Saskatoon, he turned his dreams into reality and opened up the Underground Café in the up-and-coming Riversdale area. On weekends, not only can you get great coffee and eats, you can also purchase handmade jewelry, music and art. That’s right, every Saturday and Sunday, local artisans sell their wares at The Underground Market, right inside the Underground Café!

Enjoy the ideal café experience. You won't find classic tunes, sandwiches and a coffee called “The Frank Black” anywhere else in the city. If that sounds like your thing, the Underground Café has nailed it. See for yourself – stop by today.
